Jess is a nurturing, knowledgeable and supportive doula and health practitioner. She is confident and comfortable in guiding women and their families through this unique phase of life. With a background in nutrition and yoga, Jess is able to offer women a holistic support experience from preconception to postpartum and beyond.
As a qualified nutritionist, Jess has a foundational belief in the potency of food as medicine for both the body and mind. This tenet weaves seamlessly into her work as a doula. Happy cooking for family and friends, providing nourishing food for clients is a natural extension for Jess.
Jess believes having a child is “one of the most pivotal moments in a woman's life. Setting up with the appropriate support network and arming yourself with knowledge is vital. Being able to trust yourself to birth your baby and transition into motherhood is so important.”
Jess is a mother of two boys and lives in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. She knows firsthand how overwhelming and challenging becoming a mother can be. After having a doula at her son’s births and experiencing the benefits, Jess is passionate about sharing the connection and support she received with other women.
Jess hopes to reawaken and embrace the power of women’s wisdom and community. These simple acts of kindness, compassion and knowledge sharing can have a revolutionary impact on a woman as she becomes a mother and, in turn, her child and family from that point forward.
